THE REGULAR NOH PERFORMANCE AT YAMAMOYO NOH THEATER

“Tanimachi Noh”

Six times a year, two Noh plays and one Kyogen play are performed. This event has continued since 1945.

能「老松」
Noh "OIMATSU"

“Tokui Noh”

Five times a year, a Noh performance for beginners, performed in the evening. Rice balls and tea will be served as snack. Japanese green tea is also available.

“Machamachi Salon”

every 1st Monday of the month, a course with lectures for beginners, taken place in the afternoon and the night. Tea and sweats will be served at the afternoon class and you can enjoy rice balls and tea at the night class.

You can see many kinds of Noh masks

One person from the audience can put the beautiful Noh costume and the mask

You can walk on the stage putting "tabi"on your foot
